MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Belarus went off to a good start at the European qualifying competition for the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup on 30 January, BelTA has learned.
In the first match Belarus blanked Kosovo 5-0 in the Uruchie sports center in Minsk.
On 31 January Andrei Tolmach’s men will face Andorra that lost 3-5 to Norway in the opener.
Two best teams from each of eight groups will advance to the next qualifying round of the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup, which is scheduled for late October 2019.
The 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup will take place in Lithuania from 12 September to 4 October 2020.
