MOSCOW, 7 April (BelTA) – A presentation of Belarus’ tourism and recreation potential took place during the international tourism expo Yenisei 2016 in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk, the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia told BelTA.

Prominent Belarusian sanatoriums led by Belprofsoyuzkurort took part in the expo. The Belarusian sanatoriums included Pridneprovsky, Letsy, Krinitsa, Chenki, Lesnyye Ozera, Narochansky Bereg, Bug, Belorusochka, Neman 72, Svisloch and other ones.

The organization of direct flights between Krasnoyarsk and Minsk was also discussed. At present eight hours with a stopover in Moscow is the least amount of time travelers can spend getting from one place to another. The Krasnoyarsk city administration believes that direct flights could increase mutual passenger traffic, including the number of tourists.
