Belarus tops Russia’s rating of budget family vacation spots

MINSK, 1 June (BELTA) - Belarus tops the rating of the budget summer vacation destinations for families with children, BelTA learned from the tourist portal travel.ru.

According to the website, Top 10 of the most popular family holiday destinations among the Russians in the summer of 2015 includes Greece, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Czech Republic, Egypt, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Belarus and Montenegro.

The most economical vacation destination for Russian families with children abroad is Belarus (around RUB2,300 per day). The most popular among Russian holidaymakers are the resorts on the Lake Naroch, the national children's health center Zubryonok, the national parks and reserves Berezinsky, Naroch, Pripyatsky and Braslav Lakes.

The rating was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations made from 1 June to 31 August 2015 by Russian tourists with children travelling independently, not through travel agencies.
