Belarus to take part in China Great Silk Road tourism festival

MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) – Belarus will take part in the Dunhuang Tour- Silk Road international tourism festival in June 2016, BelTA learnt from the National Tourism Agency.

The festival will take part in the Chinese Province of Gansu on 19-25 June. The event will feature a bright opening of the festival, a business program for travel agencies and related industries, an international tourism fair and a tour along a part of the Great Silk Road.

Invited to partake in the festival are tourist companies of Belarus. Applications can be sent to the emails agency.by@gmail.com or exhibition@belarustourism.by until 20 May inclusively.

The agreement on the development of a new tourist route Great Silk Road was signed during the festival in 2014. The new tourist route will cross Belarus among other countries.
