MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) - Belarus will provide humanitarian assistance to Vietnam. The corresponding decision was endorsed by Resolution No. 1045 of the Council of Ministers of 29 December 2017 which was officially posted on the national legal Internet portal on 5 January, BelTA has learned.
The decision to provide humanitarian aid to Vietnam was made in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of Belarus on international humanitarian assistance. According to the resolution, Belarus will provide the material assets to the tune of Br327,575.48 (food, tents, mobile diesel power plant, and so on.)
The Emergencies Ministry and the Transport and Communications Ministry shall secure the transportation of humanitarian aid to Vietnam.
The Finance Ministry shall reimburse, from the funds earmarked in the budget for the financing of the expenses associated with natural calamities, accidents and disasters, the cost of the material assets provided as humanitarian assistance and also the transportation and other costs associated with the delivery of the humanitarian aid.
