MINSK, 30 May (BelTA) – The Belkniga book retailer will present over 500 editions at the Red Square book festival that will take place in Moscow on 1-6 June, BelTA learned from the website of the Information Ministry.
“Belarus’ stand will feature new releases across various themes, including fiction, children’s books, learning aids, books on history, economics, psychology and many more. The stand will highlight several important themes, including the 75th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi invaders, the 2nd European Games and the Year of Native Land,” the press service informed.
Apart from that, the stand will host an autograph signing by famous journalist Inessa Pleskachevskaya on 2 June at 11:30-12:30. Her book Historical Journey With Francysk Skaryna is an enthralling journey through Europe’s major cities where the Belarusian book printing pioneer studied, lived and worked: Krakow, Padua, Prague and Vilnius.
The fifth edition of the Red Square book festival is timed to the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and the Russian Language Day.
