BEIJING, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarus is going to take part in the formation of the Silk Road Information Belt which will grant a unified access to the cooperation with China taking into account the information space globalization trend. This is envisaged in a joint declaration which was signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and China President Xi Jinping after the official negotiations in Beijing on 29 September, BelTA informs.
The sides are going to use Belarusian data processing centers, including those established with the participation of Chinese companies, together.
Belarus and China are also going to join efforts to promote the implementation of the One Belt, One Road initiative, coordinate this initiative with Belarus’ development strategy, bolster bilateral cooperation in infrastructure development, transport and logistics, information and telecommunications, and other areas of interest, ensure the successful implementation joint projects to advance mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Belarusian sides is also interested in the promotion of cooperation with China within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), enhancement of cooperation in the coordination of the One Belt, One Road initiate with the EEU initiative, development of multilateral cooperation with the SCO.
