Belarus to partake in CIS Delphic Games
MINSK, 28 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation of 50 people will take part in the 10th Open Youth Delphic Games of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) that will be held under the slogan, In Honor of the Great Victory, in the city of Orel, Russia on 1-6 May, BelTA learnt from representative of the Culture Ministry Vasily Golovan.
Belarus will be represented at the Games by students of the National Gymnasium-College under the Academy of Music, the Minsk Glebov State College of Arts, the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
The youth will demonstrate their skills in 13 nominations: piano, violin, folk instrument, pop singing, photography, fashion design, contemporary dance and others.
According to Vasily Golovan, Belarus is a regular participant of the CIS Youth Delphic Games and a regular recipient of awards in various nominations.
The Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS is the world’s only creative forum that unites all types of art. Participants are aged 10-25.
