For the fourth time Alpha-Bank (Belarus) will be general partner of this large-scale event in the cultural life of Belarus.

Alpha-Bank supports Maestro Spivakov's festival from 2010 and is rightfully proud of this beautiful tradition that gives the Belarusian audience the joy of belonging to high art, Chairman of the Board of Alfa-Bank (Belarus) Igor Katibnikov said. Over the years, the festival has become an integral part of the life of our country and the Bank but every time the festival amazes us with new facets and opens up new talents. I am confident that in the Year of Culture the program of the festival will again meet the highest expectations, he noted.

This year’s edition of the international festival Vladimir Spivakov Invites will bring together a constellation of eminent performers. The program of the festival will open on 16 February with a concert Viva La Opera by world-renowned opera diva Hibla Gerzmava accompanied by the orchestra of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus. Partaking in the festival will also be prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Ulyana Lopatkina and cello virtuoso Mischa Maisky. One of the main events of the festival will be the premiere of Roman Viktyuk’s music and drama production Tenderness featuring Sati Spivakova in the lead role. On 18 February, Vladimir Spivakov will present his program Hour of Bach on the stage of the Mogilev Oblast Philharmonic Society.

“It is just once in two years that I manage to bring together such a bright constellation of stars. I am confident that the amazing Belarusian audience will truly enjoy the concerts by the world renowned musicians. Thanks to many-year support of Alfa-Bank (Belarus), the festival has become a milestone event, which proves rich traditions of Belarus as a country promoting classics,” Vladimir Spivakov stressed.

The festival named after the great contemporary musician has been very popular with music lovers in Moscow and also in France’s Colmar for 10 years. In 2016 Belarus will host the festival for the fourth time. The festival will be held in cooperation with the Culture Ministry of Belarus and Alfa-Bank. The organizer of the festival is Berin Art Management.
