MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – An international travel business meeting will take place in Belarus on 5-7 June, BelTA learnt from the National Tourism Agency of Belarus.

The gathering will take place at the LODE recreation center in Lepel District, Vitebsk Oblast. Attending the event will be representatives of the travel business of Kazan, Moscow and Moscow Oblast, Perm, Petrozavodsk, Samara, Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast, Togliatti, representatives of the administrations of Samara, Svetlogorsk, Nizhny Novgorod Oblasts, Krasnodar and Perm Krai, Moscow and Kazan. Partaking in the gathering for the first time will be travel agencies of Latvia and Estonia.

Belarus will be represented by several big travel companies and tour operators.

The event is aimed at the development of domestic travel and the familiarization with the tourist product and tourism potential of other countries.

The event will include ethnic programs, culinary master classes, traditional fortunetelling, excursions, including to the Belarusian capital, presentations and roundtables.

The event is organized by Belarus' National Tourism Agency in partnership with the Russian Union of Travel Industry and the Sport and Tourism Department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee.
