MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – Belarus will host the Days of Culture of the Lao People's Democratic Republic for the first time, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Culture Ministry.
The celebrations will start on 30 September. A delegation of Lao cultural workers headed by Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Professor Bosengkham Vongdara has already arrived in Belarus. The guests have plans to visit a number of historical sites, including Mir Castle, on 29 September.
The Belarusian State Philharmonic Society will host the opening ceremony of the Days of Lao Culture in Belarus. The program of the concert features performances by renowned Lao artists.
Another concert will be held at the Youth Variety Theater on 1 October. The Days of Lao Culture in Belarus will finish on 2 October.
