MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – The Austrian Cultural Season will take place in Belarus in November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
Two world premieres will be presented on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society within one day. The Faraway and Close Austria program from the Chamber Orchestra of Belarus under the baton of Yevgeny Bushkov will open the Austrian Cultural Season in Belarus on 5 November. The orchestra will perform Mozart Violin Concerto #5 and also the compositions of modern Austrian composers.
Violinist Yelena Denisova will play solo in the Faraway and Close Austria program. Apart from the Mozart Concerto and Gabriele Proy’s premiere Campanula, Yelena Denisova will also perform Fritz Kreisler’s 3 Old Viennese Dances.
The Austrian Cultural Season in Belarus will start with music events and also include exhibitions and displays of literary works and paintings.
