MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – Plans have been made to build a national library and a metro system in Hanoi with assistance of Belarusian specialists, BelTA learned from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Belarus Le Anh during the press conference held in the Friendship House on 16 December.

The Ambassador said that all the Vietnamese delegations that visit Minsk go on a tour of the National Library of Belarus without fail. He believes the library is a vivid manifestation of the preservation and support of the cultural and educational wealth of the country. “This is why people in Hanoi know the National Library of Belarus well,” explained Le Anh.

The head of the diplomatic mission also mentioned the intention of Vietnam to tap into the experience of Belarusian metro construction workers. “The Belarusian experience is very interesting for Vietnam,” said the Ambassador.
