MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – Belarus intends to relax visa regulations soon, BelTA learned from Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei at a press conference in Moscow on 8 April.
“We are thinking about ways to ease up visa rules for those, who would like to visit Belarus. The matter has been discussed at the level of the head of state. I think concrete steps will follow soon,” said the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Tourism is a very promising kind of business, including for Belarus. The country has taken a number of measures to incentivize tourism. According to the Minister, legislation in this area will be improved. “Tourism is an important area for us. We will take care of it,” stressed Vladimir Makei.
