MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Belarusian rhythmic gymnasts Melitina Staniouta, Arina Sharapa and Yulia Isachenko finished third in the team competitions at the Aeon Cup 2015 in Tokyo, Japan, BelTA informs.

The Belarusian athletes collected a total of 200,862 points as part of the Dinamo team. Second were Ukraine’s Ganna Rizatdinova, Viktoria Mazur, Olena Dyachenko, representing the Irina Deryugina School, with 201,146 points. Gold was collected by Russia’s Gazprom team, Margarita Mamun, Alexandra Soldatova and Alina Yermolova (214,462 points).

The Individual All-Around competitions were won by Margarita Mamun (74,682 points). Silver went to Ganna Rizatdinova (73,616), with bronze collected by Alexandra Soldatova (72,882). Belarus’ Melitina Staniouta finished one step from the podium with the total of 72,448 points.

The Aeon Cup was first held in Japan in 1992.
