MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - Belarusian books are on display at the 13th St. Petersburg International Book Salon, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry.
When preparing the exposition this year Belarus has made an emphasis on the publications dedicated to the Year of Native Land declared in Belarus in 2018 and the anniversaries of Belarusian literature classics. All in all, the Belarusian exposition features more than 500 titles on various subjects.
During the exhibition the Belarusian delegation held a working meeting with the staff of the Bookstore of Writers who said that books published in Belarus are very popular with residents of St. Petersburg and visitors to the city.
The publishing houses Mastatskaya Litaratura and Belarus held presentations of the new books.
The 13th St. Petersburg International Book Salon is dedicated to the 315th anniversary of the city. It features 255 publishing houses of Russia, the CIS and other countries. The forum is running from 17 to 20 May.
