MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Belarus-Tajikistan cooperation in the mass media sector was discussed in the Belarusian Information Ministry, BelTA informs.
Cooperation issues were discussed during a working meeting of Information Minister Alexander Karlyukevich with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus Mahmadsharif Mahmud Haqdod on 19 March.
The parties talked over a wide range of issues related to the bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in the press and information sector, including interaction between the Belarusian news agency BelTA and Tajikistan’s new agency Khovar, and the coverage of Tajikistan’s news by publishing house Zvyazda.
The parties considered the development of the legal framework of cooperation, the expansion of mutual participation in the events held by two states and cooperation in the media structures.
