Belarus’ Sasnovich 41st in WTA rankings

MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus has moved up to her career-high 41^st WTA ranking, BelTA informs.

The Belarusian was 50^th before the 2018 Wimbledon and climbed up nine spots after reaching round four. Aliaksandra Sasnovich currently holds 1,283 points. Aryna Sabalenka sits at 34^th with 1,330 points. Vera Lapko is 72^nd with 853 points. Victoria Azarenka is placed 108^th with 601 points.

2018 Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber moved to 4th from the 10th.

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic returned to the ATP Top 10 after win at the 2018 Wimbledon. Ilya Ivashko of Belarus is 128^th with 459 points, Vladimir Ignatik – 213^th with 268 points, Egor Gerasimov – 215^th with 267 points. In the doubles rankings Max Mirnyi is 44^th.
