MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team goes 87th with 1,283 points in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Over the past two months Mikhail Markhel’s men did not play and remained unchanged in the new rankings. The Belarusian national team played two friendlies, beating Uzbekistan and Bulgaria both 1-0.

Among the post Soviet Union states Ukraine ranks the highest (24th). Russia goes 38th.
All fixtures have been canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The next FIFA rankings will be published on 11 June.
