MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Belarusian biathlete Nadezhda Skardino on winning a gold medal in the women’s 15K individual at BMW IBU World Cup 1 in Ostersund, Sweden on 29 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Your bright success reached through your diligence and will to win gave all the Belarusians the wonderful moments of joy and pride for their country. This is your first World Cup gold which gives hope and confidence to the team at the start of the Olympic season,” the message of congratulations says.

The president wished Nadezhda Skardino, her teammates and coaches good health, every success and new victories.
