MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – Belarus has plans to participate in the Education World Forum (EWF) that will bring together education and skills ministers in London in mid-January 2016, Belarus’ Deputy Education Minister Viktor Yakzhik said at a press conference, BelTA has learned.
“Belarus has been taking part in the London forum for the past three years. We have plans to send a Belarusian delegation to this year’s edition of the event. The forum will feature meetings with representatives of education ministries of different countries,” Viktor Yakzhik said.
Participants of the international forum will traditionally discuss important matters related to the quality of education, implementation of the Bologna agreements, and particularities of the national education systems with respect to international students.
The event is supported by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), the Department for International Development (DfID), the British Council and the EWF industry partners.
