MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian Armed Forces team finished 13th at the 7th CISM World Games 2019 in Wuhan, China, BelTA learned from the Telegram channel of the Defense Ministry of Belarus.
Belarus won 14 (four gold, two silver and eight bronze) medals.
The Belarusian team comprised more than 90 athletes that competed in 12 sports: wrestling, judo, parachuting, military pentathlon, triathlon, track and field, diving, shooting, archery, boxing, modern pentathlon, and fencing.
Taking part in the 2019 Military World Games that ran from 18 to 27 October were more than 9,300 military athletes from 109 countries that competed in 27 sports. The medal table was topped by China. Russia placed second, Brazil – third.
