MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – An agreement has been reached to arrange a photo exhibition displaying the achievements of modern-day Belarus in Pakistan in H1 2019 as the two countries will mark 25 years of their diplomatic relations, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Pakistan following the meeting of Belarus’ Ambassador Andrei Yermolovich with Managing Director of Pakistan’s main information agency Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation Muhammad Qamar Ullah.
The parties reviewed progress in implementing the memorandum of understanding between the Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA and the Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation signed on 29 May 2015 on the sidelines of the first official visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Pakistan.
The parties highlighted the importance of the regular exchange of relevant and reliable information materials about most important domestic and international events in the two countries amidst their efforts to ramp up bilateral contacts.
