Belarus nominated for best agrotourism destination in National Geographic Traveler Awards 2018

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) - Belarus has been nominated for the best agrotourism destination in the National Geographic Traveler Awards 2018, BelTA has learned.

Visitors to the magazine website are voting for the best destinations among the most popular types of recreation - National Geographic Traveler Awards 2018. Belarus participates in the Agrotourism category. For the time being it  is running first with 39% of the vote. Brazil, Italy, China and the United States have also been nominated for the title of the best country for agrotourism. Visitors to the website can also make their own suggestions.

Belarus was the winner in the Agrotourism nomination in 2016.

The online voting across 25 main nominations will be open till 5 October 2018. Tourists choose the best destinations in the categories Beach Leisure, Family Vacation, Excursions, Ski Holiday, Adventure Vacations and Eco Tourism.
