Belarus names Eurovision 2017 national selection finalists
MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – Thirteen finalists for Belarus’ Eurovision 2017 national selection were announced on 30 December.
A total of 67 entries came through open auditions.
The finalists announced on the Belarus One TV channel included Aleksandra Tkach; Kattie (Yekaterina Rudnitskaya); Vladislav Kurasov, NAVI band; Anzhelika Pushnova; Isaac Nightingale (Vadim Kapustin); Anastasia Sheverenko; Iyul (Yulia Korenyuk); Nuteki; Napoli; Lermont x Julic; PROvokatsiya band; Nikita Khodas.
The Belarusian TV and Radio Company (Belteleradiocompany) provided live coverage of the auditions on its website.
The final concert for Belarus’ Eurovision entry will be held no later than 25 January 2017. The winner of the national selection will represent Belarus at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest to be hosted by Kiev (Ukraine).
