Belarus’ Music Theater to present two premieres in 2016
MINSK, 9 September (BelTA) – Two premieres will be presented by the Belarusian State Academic Music Theater in 2016, BelTA learnt from the theater.
The theater company are currently working in Piotr Tchaikovsky’s ballet Swan Lake and Kim Breitburg’s musical Jane Eyre.
This year the theater is also expected to exchange tour programs with the Russian Drama Theater of Lithuania (Vilnius) and the Griboyedov Smolensk State Drama Theater (Russia).
Young spectators of the Belarusian State Academic Music Theater will be invited to see New Year’s Ball with Cinderella and Hollywood-Style New Year.
The Belarusian State Academic Music Theater will open its 47th session with Vladimir Kondrusevich’s musical Sofia of Golshany, the winner of the National Theater Award, on 11 September. The musical will mark the birthday of theater art director, Honored Figure of Culture of Belarus Adam Murzich.
From 12 to 16 September the Belarusian State Academic Music Theater will present Frederick Loewe’s My Fair Lady, Paul Abraham’s operetta Ball im Savoy, Maksim Dunayevsky’s Mary Poppins, Boris Aleksandrov’s musical comedy Wedding in Malinovka.
