Belarus’ Kristina Dmitruk wins ITF Portugal 17A

MINSK, 14 October (BelTA) – Kristina Dmitruk of Belarus won the ITF Portugal 17A tennis tournament in Quinta do Lago, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian, ranked 371^st in the world, saw off France’s world number 346 Yasmin Mansouri, 6-4, 6-3, in an hour and 16 minutes in the final of the event.

On her way to the victory Kristina Dmitruk beat World No.280 Susan Bandacchi of Switzerland, Sweden’s World No.998 Tilde Stromquist, Portugal’s World No.366 Matilde Jorge, and France’s World No.203 Kristina Mladenovic. The new title is the fourth one for the 21-year-old Belarusian tennis player on the ITF Women's Circuit.
