MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - Belarus' entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 IVAN will perform 5th in the second semifinal, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian state television and radio broadcasting company Belteleradiocompany.
This year, just like the previous one, the running order was determined by the producers of the show. Organizers believe that this will make the show more exciting and spectacular and will give all entries an equal opportunity to shine.
Taking to the stage in the first semifinal on 10 May will be Finland, Greece, Moldova, Hungary, Croatia, the Netherlands, Armenia, San Marino, Russia, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Austria, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Montenegro, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malta.
The second semifinal on 12 May will feature Latvia, Poland, Switzerland, Israel, Belarus, Serbia, Ireland, Macedonia, Lithuania, Australia, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Denmark, Ukraine, Norway, Georgia, Albania and Belgium.
The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Sweden on 10-14 May. The two semifinals and the final of the show will be broadcast live by the Belarus One and Belarus 24 TV channels.
