MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Ministry of Communications and Informatization will release a postage stamp "The 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of India" on 12 September, BelTA learned from the Belpochta mail service.
The project has been organized in cooperation with the Belarusian Embassy in India. The official First-Day-of-Issue dedication ceremonies will be conducted in Minsk and in New Delhi.
The stamp circulation will be 60,000 copies. Its nominal value complies with the tariff on international written correspondence (letters, parcels, small packages) weighing under 20 grams.
India is one of the important foreign political partners of Belarus. In recent years the trade and economic cooperation of the two countries has been developing intensively. The most promising is cooperation in energy, engineering, information technologies, pharmaceutical and food industries. Belarus and India maintain a high level of cooperation in science, culture, law enforcement and education.
