MINSK, 17 July (BelTA) – Ihar Boki of Belarus clinched the fourth gold at the ongoing IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow. The Belarusian won his fourth world title in the men’s 400m Freestyle S9, BelTA informs.
Ihar Boki clocked 3:59.48 in the final heat. Ukraine’s Iaroslav Denysenko secured silver in 4:00.69, while bronze went to Dmitry Gorlin of Uzbekistan (4:09.36).
Earlier, the Belarusian swimmer set a new world record in the men's 50m Backstroke S13 and was also victorious in the 200m Individual Medley SM13 and the 100m Backstroke S13.
The IPC Swimming World Championships in Glasgow will finish on 19 July.
