MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ national presentation has been held in the public educational institute and observatory Urania in Vienna, BelTA learnt from the Embassy of Belarus in Austria.
The event was organized by the Belarusian diplomatic mission in cooperation with the Austrian-Belarusian Society. Counselor at the embassy Andrei Shuplyak presented a report on Belarus. The presentation also included a speech of Chairman of the Austrian-Belarusian Society Professor Peter Bachmaier and head of the Austrian charity organization Help to Children from Belarus Maria Hetzer. Belarusian violinist Anna Krasnaya performed a number of works of Belarusian composers.
Guests of the event got familiar with the presentation materials on Belarus, the activity of the Austrian-Belarusian Society and the implementation of the Chernobyl project Help to Children from Belarus.
