MINSK, 25 October (BelTA) - Aliaksandra Herasimenia of Belarus won silver of Women’s 50m Free with a 24.04 finish at the 2016 FINA World Cup Tokyo, BelTA has learned.
Denmark’s Jeanette Ottesen clocked a 23.80 to win a gold medal. Canada’s Michelle Williams completed the podium with a 24.25.
Few days earlier Aliaksandra Herasimenia posted a third-place finish of 24.40 in Women’s 50 Free at the 2016 FINA World Cup in Singapore.
Belarus’ Pavel Sankovich finished fourth with a 50.56 in Men’s 100m Back in Tokyo. The gold went to Australia’s Mitch Larkin with a top showing of 50.23, followed closely by Masaki Kaneko’s second place finish of 50.36.
