MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – Hanna Tserakh of Belarus claimed silver at the 2020 UEC Track Elite European Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian secured the medal in the Women’s 10km Scratch Race. Hanna Tserakh was in the leading position during the final lap and just in the end was overtaken by Italy’s Martina Fidanza. Bronze went to Ukraine’s Tatyana Klimenko.
Russia took gold in the Women’s Team Sprint. The UK was second, with Ukraine finishing third.
The competitions in Plovdiv are underway from 11 to 15 November. Twenty-two medal events include team pursuit and team sprint, individual races, scratch races, elimination races, madison, omnium, points races, sprint and keirin.
