Belarus’ Great Patriotic War Museum, Canadian War Museum to cooperate

MINSK, 17 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War and the Canadian War Museum intend to cooperate, BelTA has learned from Belarus’ Embassy in Canada.

Charge d'Affaires of Belarus in Canada Evgeny Rusak met with senior officials of the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa - Director of Collections James Whitham and Acting Director of Exhibitions and Creative Development and Learning Glenn Ogden. “The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Canadian War Museum and Belarus’ Great Patriotic War Museum,” the diplomatic mission noted.

According to the parties, establishing contacts between the war museums of Belarus and Canada will be a confirmation of the willingness to preserve the historical memory of the Great Victory.
