MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Yekaterina Galkina of Belarus won two medals at the Grand Prix Holon in Israel, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian scored 19,200 points with the Ball to clinch gold. Arina Averina of Russia placed second with 18,850 points. The Russian gymnast took gold with the Hoop, while Yekaterina Galkina got 18,150 points to place third.
Yulia Yevchik of Belarus finished fourth with the Clubs and the Ribbon. Yana Striga clinched bronze with the Ball in the junior competitions.
Belarusian gymnasts are gearing up for the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships in Guadalajara in June and the 36th FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia.
