MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Commonwealth of Australia opened in the city of Canberra on 24 February, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry told BelTA.

Taking part in the ceremony to open the embassy and raise the Belarusian state flag were Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia Ric Wells, and representatives of Australian government agencies and the diplomatic corps in Canberra.
