MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – The map for gastronomic tourists will be issued in Belarus in 2016. The map will indicate the places which serve authentic local cuisine dishes, BelTA learned from chairperson of the Belarusian Association of Rural and Ecotourism “Country Escape” Valeriya Klitsunova.

"The country’s culinary map will be released in early 2016 under the brand Gastsinya. The domain name for its electronic version has already been registered. Attached to the map will be a culinary collection featuring about 100 recipes of the national Belarusian cuisine,” Valeriya Klitsunova said.

The map will indicate the places serving authentic local cuisine dishes, culinary landmarks and dates of the culinary events in all regions of the country.

This information will be visualized in a special mobile application for culinary tourists. A signature style of the culinary map has been specifically designed for the project. Its emblem will be crossed spoon and fork against the backdrop of stylized national ornament.
