Belarus COVID-19 update: 78,990 people recover

MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – As of 16 October 78,990 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

A total of 86,392 people have tested positive for COVID-19 so far. Belarus has carried out 2,170,047 tests.

As many as 921 COVID-19 patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died since the infection's outbreak in Belarus.
