Belarus’ COVID-19 latest: 699 new cases, 662 recoveries

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – Belarus confirmed 699 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours; another 662 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

The nationwide coronavirus tally was pushed to 249,994 cases. A total of 237,178 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered in Belarus.

As many as 1,737 COVID-19 patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died since the infection's outbreak in Belarus.

All in all, Belarus performed 4,488,821 tests, including 6,522 tests in the past 24 hours.
