Belarus coronavirus update: Over 81,000 tests done

MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – As of 16 April, Belarus has carried out more than 81,000 coronavirus tests, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
 
“As of 16 April, 81,246 coronavirus tests have been carried out in Belarus. Twenty-four laboratories are involved in testing. They were set up in national research centers and centers for hygiene, epidemiology, and public health as well as in private medical centers,” the press service informed.
 
Belarus has reported 4,204 coronavirus cases. The press service noted that 65 patients require assisted ventilation. Forty coronavirus patients with chronic diseases died.
