MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) - As of 10 May, 6,406 patients previously diagnosed with COVID-19 recovered and were discharged from hospitals in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
The nationwide tally of the novel coronavirus cases reached 22,973 people, which is 8.7% of the number of conducted tests.
A total of 38 laboratories operate in Belarus today. They have performed 263,543 tests. “Over the past two days the number of tests conducted has exceeded 10,000. From 9 to 10 May specialists carried out 11,772 tests,” the ministry said.
A total of 131 coronavirus patients suffering from a number of chronic diseases have died.
