Belarus complete 2021 year 94th in FIFA rankings

MINSK, 24 December (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team competed the 2021 year 94th in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.

Georgy Kondratyev's team went up one position in the rankings with 1233.43 points. In 2021, the Belarusian footballers 11 matches, securing two victories, playing one match in a draw and losing eight more. In 2020, the Belarusian national team completed 2020 88th.

Among the post Soviet Union states Ukraine ranks the highest (25th). Russia goes 34th, Uzbekistan – 84th, Georgia – 85th, Armenia – 92nd, Kyrgyzstan – 96th, Estonia – 107th, Tajikistan – 116th, Kazakhstan – 119th, Azerbaijan – 120th, Turkmenistan – 133rd, Latvia – 134th, Lithuania – 136th and Moldova – 181st.
