MINSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Belarus clinched two victories at the 2018 European Motoball Championships in Kovrov, Russia, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian national team won 4-2 against Germany and Lithuania. On 8 August Belarus will face France. Belarus will also take on Russia on 9 August and the Netherlands on 10 August. Taking part in the sport forum are six national teams. The best four teams will play in the semifinal on 11 August. Medal games are scheduled for 12 August.
Kovrov is also hosting the European Junior Motoball Championships. The Belarusian team under the tutelage of Anton Vlasovets will play France on 9 August.
The European Motoball Championships are held for the 32nd time. Belarus finished 4th in 2017 and won bronze in 2016.
