MINSK, 11 July (BelTA) – The 2016 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup has completed in Kazan, with Belarus clinching silver on the final day of the competitions, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian team of Ksenia Cheldyshkina, Anna Dudenkova, maria Kadobina, Valeria Pishchelina, Arina Tsitsilina placed second best in the Six Clubs and Two Hoops event. The Belarusians scored a total of 18,400 points. Russia claimed gold with 18,600 points. Bronze went to Italy (18,300 points). Belarus finished 8th in the Five Ribbons routine.
Belarusian gymnasts won four medals more in Kazan. The Belarusians clinched the Team All-Around silver. Leader of the Belarusian national team Melitina Staniouta won three medals: the Ribbon silver and the Ball and Clubs bronze medals.
