Belarus’ biathlete Kryuko 5th in Oberhof 7.5km Sprint

MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Iryna Kryuko of Belarus was fifth in the Women’s 7.5km Sprint Competition at the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Germany’s Oberhof, BelTA has learned.

Lisa Vittozzi of Italy won the race (22' 34.6). Silver went to Anais Chevalier of France (+05.3). Hanna Oberg from Sweden clinched bronze +15.0.

Another Belarusian Dzinara Alimbekava came 25th, her teammate Irina Kruchinkina was 30th.

Dorothea Wierer of Italy leads the women’s standing with 398 points. Belarus’ best biathlete Iryna Kryuko is ninth with 259 points.
