MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – After the French Open 2022 Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka rose one spot up to 6th in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
At Roland Garros the best Belarusian tennis player reached the round of Last 32 and currently goes with 3,966 points. Victoria Azarenka is 19th with 2,330 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich, who reached the French Open Last 16 for the first time in her career, jumped 11 spots up to 36th (1,341 points).
Iga Swiatek of Poland retained her world number one spot winning the French Open 2022. The Roland Garros finalist Coco Gauff of the United States moved from the 23rd up to the 13th place.
