Belarus Ambassador to Tajikistan opens international education expo
MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) – An official opening of the international educational "Exhibition Fair of the Republic of Belarus. Dushanbe 2015" took place at S. Aini Tajik State Pedagogical University with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan Olga Gavruk on 11 August, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
In her greeting speech Olga Gavruk noted that this event would provide a unique opportunity for school leavers to learn about Belarusian universities, choose the future profession, do an interview and become a student of one of the Belarusian establishments of higher education.
The exhibition has been organized by the Embassy of Belarus in Tajikistan, the Education Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. Partaking in the event are 21 universities of Belarus. The Belarusian delegation is led by Dean of the Pre-University Education Department at the Belarusian State University Vyacheslav Malofeyev.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Rakhmatullo Mirboboyev thanked the Belarusian side for the organization of the exhibition and expressed hope that the event would give momentum to the Belarusian-Tajik cooperation in the education sector.
