MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team go 99th with 1219.78 points in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Carlos Alos Ferrer’s men did not play last month and moved one spot down in the chart.
Belarus will play its next matches as part of the UEFA Nations League Group C3 in autumn. The Belarusian team will face Bulgaria (82nd in FIFA rankings) on 5 September, Luxembourg (85th) on 8 September and Ireland (73rd) on 12 October.
Following the EURO 2024 its winner Spain moved up to the third position in the FIFA rankings are still topped by Argentina, the winner of Copa America. France go second, England, the EURO 2024 vice champion, fourth. Brazil wraps up the top five.
The next FIFA rankings will be published on 19 September.
