MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – Belarus finished 8^th at the 2018 CEV U20 Men's Volleyball European Championship in The Hague, the Netherlands, BelTA informs.

Belarus lost the seventh place to Italy 0-3 (17-25, 20-25, 9-25). In the preliminary round Belarus placed 3^rd in Group A after beating Portugal 3-0, Germany 3-0, the Netherlands 3-2 and losing 0-3 to Finland and 0-3 to the Czech Republic. In the semifinal for the 5^th-8^th places Belarus lost to Poland 1-3.

Russia claimed gold defeating the Czech Republic in the final. Bronze went to Belgium that blanked the Netherlands 3-0.
