MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) - The Belarusian national football team remained 89th in the recently published rankings of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.
Over the past two months the Belarusian football players, as the other teams, did not play and remained 89th with 1,276 points. The Belarusian national team will play two matches in early June under head coach Georgy Kondratiev who replaced Mikhail Markhel following Belarus’ 0-8 defeat to Belgium. On 2 June Belarus will play friendly with Azerbaijan (110th in the world rankings). On 7 June Belarus will face Sierra Leone (114th).
